How To Sign Up For Emergency Alerts from the Borough
In case of emergency...
Midland Park's Swift 911 service is intended to notify residents by phone in case of an emergency. Residents who use a Verizon land line are automatically registered for the system. If you don't use Verizon, or would like to receive messages via cell phone, you have to register for the service online.
If you have tried to register for the reverse emergency alert service through the borough's website and have been unable to because the links aren't working correctly, Midland Park Press has the solution. Click on the police cruiser to the left of this article for a step-by-step photo guide or follow the steps below.
Step 1: Go to www.bcoem.org.
Step 2: Click on the Swift 911 logo from the home page (image is shown above).
Step 3: Fill in your contact information and add all the phone numbers for your household. You can also include a number to receive text alerts.
