Education Hall of Fame Nominations sought

The Midland Park Board of Education is accepting nominations for its Education Hall of Fame. The deadline is March 3. Nominations should be sent to: Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 250 Prospect St., Midland Park, NJ 07432.
The Education Hall o Fame was started in 2003 to recognize contributions made by past staff members of the Midland Park school district. The Education Hall of Fame is open to all former Midland Park district employees who have been retired at least three years and who have made significant contributions to the improvement of Midland Park school system over at least a five year period of employment.
Individuals nominated should be those whose past contributions are still well-recalled, evident and much appreciated. A nomination requires the submission of at least two separate letters endorsing the person's candidacy. The letters should focus on the ways that the nominee made a special contribution to the school system during his or her time of tenure with the district. Nominations should be at least one page long if not longer.
A maximum of three individuals will be selected for membership in the Education Hall of Fame each year. The winners will be announced at a Board of Education meeting in April and their pictures will be placed in the Hallway of Fame at the High School.
