Seeing Eye Puppy Named "Hank" at Lions Club Pancake Breakfast

04/25/2013 10:28AM ● By Anonymous

The Midland Park Lions Club concluded their second name the seeing eye puppy drive by selecting the name of their next sponsored puppy.  The puppy will be named “Hank.”  The winning name was submitted by Mark Chanzis of the Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry.  The Chanzis family were puppy raisers in Smithtown, NY.

Hank was inspired by two sports figures, Henrik Lundqvist, goalie for the N.Y. Rangers and Henry “Hank” Arron, formerly of the Atlanta Braves, who broke Babe Ruth’s total home run record by hitting 714 homers.

A check for $5,000 will be presented to  The Seeing Eye of Morristown N.J. for the naming rights to Hank.

Hank was named at the Lions Club's 42nd Annual Pancake Breakfast on April 14.
