Library Announces Summer Children’s Programs

Summer story time registration will begin on Monday, June 3. The schedule is 2-3 year olds on Mondays or Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. and 4-6 year olds on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. The summer story time begins the week of June 24 and runs until the week of Aug. 5. Each session requires pre-registration and consists of stories and a craft that will last 30-40 minutes. Baby time for ages 6-24 months at 10:30 a.m. has begun and does not require any registration. The dates are, June 5, June 12, June 19 and will last about 30 minutes. The next session is July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, and Aug. 7. The first half will be filled with stories, music, and rhymes and the rest of the time is reserved for free play with toys and educational games for babies and parents. Older siblings are welcome to attend with parents and babies!
There will be a drop-in/take home Father’s Day Craft for ages 2-6 on Monday, June 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No registration required, just stop in.
The Dig into Reading Summer Reading registration will begin on Monday, June 17. All ages are welcome to come in and sign-up to receive a reading log and a Dig into Reading bag!
There will be a drop-in story time for 2-3 year olds on Thursday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. and for 4-6 year olds on Tuesday, June 18 at 10:30 a.m. These sessions consist of stories and a craft that will last 30-40 minutes.
On Friday, June 28 the library will be showing Oz the Great and Powerful (PG) at 2 p.m. in the meeting room. Children under 9 must be accompanied by a parent.
