There are three different programs children can register for in July. Register either in person at the children’s desk, by email at email@example.com or by phone (201) 444-2390:
Wacky Rock Gardens: On Wednesday, July 10 at 3pm, Garden Arts for Kids will be providing an activity for children ages 4 and up to create Wacky Rock Gardens. Kids will paint a handful of rocks and place them into a terrarium. They will plant sphagnum moss, sedum, and alpine plants. These plants will continue to thrive and grow continuously year after year and can be divided and planted into their outside gardens at home.
Dinosaur Excavation: On Wednesday, July 24 at 3pm, children ages 3 and up can register to excavate dinosaur fossils. Children will dig up sand fossils and use tools to break them open, dust off, and uncover their own dinosaur fossils.
Duct Tape Cuff Bracelets: On Friday, July, 26 at 3:30pm, kids entering grades 2 and up can come to the library to create animal print duct tape cuff bracelets.
The Dig into Reading Summer Reading registration has begun. All ages are welcome to come in and sign-up to receive a reading log, stamp, and a Dig into Reading bag!
Movie Time: On Friday, July 19 the library will be showing Ivan the Incredible (PG) at 2pm in the meeting room. Children under 9 must be accompanied by a parent.
