Police Blotter: TRO Leads To Warrant Arrest, Credit Fraud

The following police blotter items were provided by the Midland Park Police Department:
On July 26, Lt. Bernard Vandenberg served a Temporary Restraining Order to a 23-year-old Midland Park resident, then arrested the male on an outstanding warrant. The warrant in the amount of $1,000 emanated out of the Paterson Municipal Court. Arrangements were made to satisfy the warrant and the defendant was released with a new court date.
On July 30, an Oak Street resident reported to Officer Thomas Bedoe that an unknown person(s) placed an order for two iPhones using his credit card. As soon as the victim saw the charge he contacted the carrier and cancelled the order which amounted to $508.22.
