Public Notice: Veterinarian Seeks Continued Parking Waiver

That an application has been made by Dean Cerf, D.V.M. for amended site plan variance and related approvals in connection with the property located at 70 Goffle Road and identified on the Tax Map of the Borough as Block 19, Lot 6 in the Borough of Midland Park, Bergen County, New Jersey. This property is located in the B-1 "Commercial" Zone District and has historically been used for a full service veterinary hospital, which use is permitted in the zone. Applicant plans to renew this use on the property, once the proposed improvements are approved.

Although there are no known new variances associated with this submission, the Applicant seeks relief from the revised general ordinances of the Borough of Midland Park as follows:

1. Site plan, variance and all related approvals including continuation of the following existing deviations from the Code:

(i) Minimum front yard - 25 feet required; 22 feet existing and proposed; 

(ii) Parking in front yard; and 
(iii) Number of parking stalls - 26 spaces required; 13 spaces existing and proposed. No aspect of the existing non-conforming conditions will be altered as a result of this proposal. 

2. Applicant also requests such additional variances, waivers and other relief which may be required or deemed necessary by the Board in connection with this application.

A hearing on this application has been ordered by the Planning Board to be held on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Borough Hall, Municipal Building, 280 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park, New Jersey at which time you may appear either in person or by agent or attorney and present any questions, concerns or statements which you may have with respect to this application.
