09/20/2013 09:17AM ● By Rebecca K. Abma
The recently reorganized Midland Park Chamber of Commerce is getting down to business. More than a dozen interested people attended its first meeting on Sept. 4, and set its goals to increase membership and brainstorm ways to revitalize the business community in Midland Park.

Membership is open to all types of businesses — retailers, service businesses, professionals and home-based businesses — both in and out of Midland Park, charitable organizations and non-profit groups, and community members.

Chamber President Lori Nuzzi, DC, set a new membership fee schedule, based on membership costs in other nearby communities. Annual dues will be prorated for the year and are as follows:

  • Renewal membership: $65
  • New Membership, Midland Park business: $100
  • New Membership, Out-of-town business: $150
  • Non-Profit Organizations: $75
  • Community Members: $75
The Chamber will meet again on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 7:30pm at Columbia Bank, 60 Godwin Ave, Midland Park. Anyone who is interested in join is welcome to attended.
