MPK Schools Announce New Social Media Channels
● By Rebecca K. Abma
Midland Park schools announced new social media outlets being used by administration and staff to enhance and improve communication with students, schools, and community.
Accessibility to district news is now also available via Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/midlandparkpublicschools. While Facebook posts are not intended to substitute for the vast amount of information available on the district website, the district hope that it will provide an additional outlet for school and district news and announcements.
The Twitter Pilot successfully implemented last year has been expanded to include more administrators, and soon, key staff members. Twitter Tweets are brief messages of information or encouragement with regard to student accomplishments and noteworthy school and district initiatives. Please sign up to follow our administrative team as they tweet out the good news about Midland Park students and schools in days to come. Many of these accounts are private and you need to request permission to follow in order to see the tweets.
