Police Blotter: ID Theft & Warrant Arrest

The following items were submitted by the Midland Park Police Department:
On April 16, a Midland Park resident reported to Officer Thomas Bedoe she was a victim of an identity theft. She stated she attempted to E-file her tax return, and upon doing so, she was informed a tax return in her name had already been submitted.
On April 23 at 12:30 a.m., a 28-year-old Hoboken resident was arrested on outstanding warrants as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Central Avenue. The warrants, emanating out of Weehawken Township Municipal Court, and two out of Middletown Township Municipal Court, totaled $1,850. Bail was posted, and a summons was issued for driving while suspended. Officers Steven Vander Pyl and Jason Tillson investigated.
