Cub Scouting wants you! Now is the time to join the fun and excitement of America’s foremost youth program for boys—Cub Scouting.

Midland Park Pack 157 will be holding a great night of fun for boys and their families who are interested in learning more about the Cub Scouts at the DePhillips Community Center (Dairy Barn) on May 9 at 6pm.

Designed for boys ages 7 to 10, Cub Scouting combines outdoor activities, sports, academics, and more in a fun and exciting program that helps families teach ideals such as good citizenship, community giving and respect.

Fliers with additional details will be distributed at Godwin and Highland schools. Interested boys and parents are encouraged to attend the event on May 9. Some of the activities and events that the Cub Scout participate in and enjoy to name a few are:

• Physical Fitness Challenge
• Memorial Day Parade
• New Jersey Jackal Camping Night
• and of course the annual Pinewood Derby

The Boy Scouts of America comprises more than one million volunteers working together for the sole purpose of helping its nearly three million youth succeed in life. For more information, contact James Wheaton at
